New producers to Jamaica Jazz and Blues

The art of music Productions (AMP) is a new company that will produce the Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival 2012.

The launch event yesterday made the announcement at the Iberostar Suites in Montego Bay, AMP’s CEO, Stephen Dear, says turnkey Productions, under whom the show have been produced over the last 16 years, have been let go.

Walter Elmore remained Chairman and executive producer of the festival, but has added a fresh team of the business community that includes marketers Oliver Mair and accountant Winsome Minott. Financial Guru Leo Williams completes the older group of Directors that includes a management agent Jerome Hamilton, artiste company Carol Bourke and engineer Martin Elmore.

“We are providing a new platform for the new company to carry out the plan projected a draw. AMP will capitalize on the growth of worldwide entertainment market through the production and promotion of high-quality entertainment, “Stephen Dear has said of the meeting.
